The activity with grammar boxes is presented to the child starting from approximately 5 years of age, when the interest in words arises and when the child has already worked with grammatical symbols. The grammatical boxes are marked with different colors depending on the part of speech on which the work is focused at the time. The color of each compartment box does not necessarily correspond to the color of the corresponding grammatical symbol (MLN-0025.1/MLN-0025.3), a choice made by Maria Montessori herself in order to avoid that, in the child's work, the color itself prevails over the reasoning. The only invariable color correspondence is with respect to the noun (black) and the verb (red).

Description

33 wooden boxes to hold the grammar cards. The boxes are colored according to the different parts of speech they represent. All the boxes are stackable with interlocking.
