The language insets (also called the metal insets because originally they were made of varnished metal) can be used from the age of three years. The direct aim is to develop fine motor skills in preparation for writing. Moreover, it educates the visual sense for geometry and helps to better comprehend geometrical design.

Description

The material is composed of two series of geometric figure interlocking pieces: the blue figure is equipped with a grip knob and fits perfectly into a 14x14 cm yellow square tile. The first series consists of 5 regular polygonal geometric figures; the second series consists of curvilinear geometric figures. Everything is in metal painted in the two colors blue and yellow. Each series is presented on a slanted wooden shelf, not included in the article and can be purchased separately.
