Rectangular mats, to be laid out on the floor, are an essential element in the Montessori environment. In fact, the child, who can choose the activity to do but also how to "settle" in the environment that welcomes him, often works on the floor, alone or in a small group; not only in the Children's House, but also in primary school, where many of the jobs are done on a mat. This convenient rack gives visibility to the mats in the environment and allows the child, even a small one, to easily remove and reinsert the rolled mats.
