The material is used starting from approximately the age of five, when the child knows the ten of golden beads, the numbers from 1 to 10 and the bars of colored beads; it is used with the work of the negative snake. The work with this material is intended to facilitate the construction of the mental mechanism of calculation through the ten.

Description

The material includes:

  • a wooden tray (43 x 25 x 2.5h cm) containing 1 wooden box with lid, divided into compartments, with 10 sets of sticks from 1 to 9 of colored wooden beads;
  • 1 wooden box with lid containing 5 sets of sticks from 1 to 9 of gray wooden beads;
  • 1 wooden box with lid containing sticks from 1 to 9 of black and white wooden beads and 20 sticks of 10 of gold-colored glass beads.

All the pearl sticks are mounted with stainless steel wire.
