CARDBOARD MAPS FOR THE AFRICA INSET

The work with geography insets and maps can be offered from age three and up and allows for activities of increasing complexity: breaking down and reassembling parts (visual and tactile discrimination), learning scientific nomenclature, pre-writing (tracing the outlines of parts and the whole), writing and reading. It also supports a more in-depth study of geography. The flat geography puzzles can also be used in combination with globes and movable alphabet blocks; they are a valuable reference for extended activities (research, writing, creating booklets and thematic maps).
