The material includes a wooden box with lid containing a set of 12 tablets in 12 colours. Each tablet has two wooden sides to allow a correct grip. The sides are slightly rounded so as to distinguish them from the tablets of boxes 1, 2 and 3. All wooden parts have UNI EN 71-3 finishing.
SHADED COLOUR TABLETS - BOX NO. 4
Box 4 is used in combination with box 3 to make the circle of colour shades. The colour tablets give the child a visual education and refines the ability to distinguish different colours. Like other Montessori materials for very small children, this material helps to develop concentration, will, intelligence and sharpens the observation of the environment. Moreover, it develops the esthetical and artistic view of reality, in particular through the possible combinations of colours, gradually enriching the child’s vocabulary.
