This material can be used from the age of 4 onwards when the child knows the the golden bar of tens, the numbers 1 to 10 and the coloured bead bars. To be used with the positive snake game, first and second level. The goal of this material is to facilitate the construction of the mental calculating mechanism by using the 10.

Description

The material includes:

  • a wooden tray (43 x 25 x 2.5 cm) containing 1 beech wood box with lid, divided into compartments, with 10 sets of sticks from 1 to 9 of coloured wooden beads;
  • 1 wooden box with lid containing sticks from 1 to 9 of black and white wooden beads and 20 sticks of 10 of gold-coloured glass beads.

All bead bars are made with stainless steel sticks.
