This material is suggested in the first classes of primary school after having worked with the volume box. It introduces the child to the concept that the calculation of a solid volume involves three dimensions.

Description

A wooden box with a removable side, containing a yellow solid beech prism 20 x 10 x 10 cm, divided into five prisms of height 2 cm; four of the five prisms have engraved on the upper face a subdivision into 2 x 2 cm modules, highlighted in a different way.

SQUARES

MGE-0100
In elementary school, metal geometry puzzles allow children to immerse themselves in the study of geometry naturally, through manipulation, right up to the execution of more complex proofs. The pieces of all the insets can be used together to study lines, angles, shapes, and equivalences; they can easily be used as a template for drawings on paper.

VOLUME BOX WITH 250 CUBES

MGE-0071
The volume box is used in the first classes of primary school in combination with already known materials like the pink tower: using the small cubes to rebuild the shape and volume of solids you can calculate the volume.
