The wooden drawer, which can be part of the cabinet, contains the circle insets: it is made up of a frame within which to place the geometric figure of the same material but in a contrasting colour with a small wooden knob. The available colours are: yellow with blue figure or white with red figure. The circles of this set are of decreasing dimensions, from 10 to 5 cm diameter. NOTE: insets are currently made from wood. The drawer can be supplied with a removable felt bottom in the colour of the geometric figures chosen (SE02 G). All wooden parts are UNI EN 71-3 finished.

This material can be used from three years onwards and develops the sensorial knowledge of plane geometry which will be deepened in the following years. It develops the visual and tactile knowledge of the geometric figures that can be observed consciously in the surrounding area. The sensorial experimentation with straight lines and curves, together with the grip exercise, are a good preparation for writing (the forms are similar to the letters of the alphabet and to the numerical digits).

This material is also very useful in primary school, in particular when dyslexic children first start to study geometry. The blue triangles can be supported by nomenclatures, drawings or prints.
