There are 5 boxes with lids: 2 rectangular, 1 triangular, and one small and one big hexagonal, all containing wooden triangles of different shapes, sizes and varnished in different colours. Each triangle - except for the ones in rectangular box n. 2 - have one or more sides with black guidelines. This allows the child to check on errors by itself when putting the triangles together to construct complex geometrical figures. All wooden parts are UNI EN 71-3 finished.

From the age of 4 years the working with this material the child will learn that all plane geometrical figures can be constructed from triangles. It allows to evaluate the length of the sides and the angles by simply putting more elements one on top of the other. This material is also very useful in primary school, in particular when dyslexic children first start to study geometry. Through working with the constructive triangles the child learns how to classify the triangles into equilateral, isosceles and scalene or rectangle, acute angle and obtuse angle.

This material encourages the freedom of choice and concentration. It sharpens the visual perception by educating the sense of sight related to the length as well as the ability to distinguish differences. Moreover, it develops the ability of seriation and gives the child important keys to its environment, expressed on various levels, including the...

This material can be used from three years onwards and develops the sensorial knowledge of plane geometry which will be deepened in the following years. The cards show the outlines of the geometric figures in three levels of difficult. The cards are used once the child is confident with the insets. The work strengthens the visual knowledge of the...

This material can be used from 24-30 months onwards. It isolates temperature quality of different surfaces and can be used blindfolded to refine the ability to recognise the temperature of surfaces only by using only the tactile sense, not searching distinctions through sight.

Block 4 is the last one to be used from 30 months of age onwards because it introduces more complex work with elements of inversely proportional dimensions. It, facilitates freedom of choice and concentration, gross and fine motoric skills, eye-hand coordination, visual perception through the education of sight with reference to dimension (this block...
