This material consists of two wooden boards, each divided in five horizontal parts. On each part a number from 10 to 90 has been engraved, with exception of the last part of the second board which remains empty. The 9 wooden tablets have the numbers 1 to 9 engraved. The teen board is used with the bead bars (MA06). The boards and tablets are placed in a wooden box with compartments and lid and all wooden parts have a UNI EN 71-3 finishing.
TEEN BOARDS WITH BOX
Work with the teen board starts from around the age of four when the child has been working with the first psycho arithmetic materials and begins to recognise the quantities associated to the numbers from 1 to 10. The specific aim of this material is to reinforce what the child has learned and proceed in the knowledge of the numbers 11 to 19. It can be used together with the alphabets, for example with the two colours alphabet (LI08) to deepen the knowledge of the number nomenclature.
