The wooden board has a checkerboard carpet printed in the hierarchic colours with diagonally arranged squares and references (from units to millions) engraved on two sides of the boards. The carpet prevents the bead bars to roll away on the surface. The set includes 20 bead stairs 1-9 in a wooden box with 6 compartments and lid, white number tiles (7 sets 0-9) and grey number tiles (4 sets 0-9), printed in the hierarchic colours. The beads have a diameter of 8 mm and are micro lathed and varnished in Italy and thread on stainless steel wire by hand. The wooden parts have a UNI EN 71-3 finishing.

This complete set will guide the child in carrying out divisions with larger dividends. It will also be very useful in getting ever more acquainted with the hierarchic value of the numbers of the basic decimal system.
This material can be used from the age of 5 years onwards, once the child has worked with the golden and coloured beads. The goal is to accompany the child towards abstraction: from the analysis and operations with real quantities to those with positional numeration, according to the decimal system. This frame allows to work with numbers up to the thousands.
This material can be used from the age of four, when the child has already practiced with the first psycho arithmetic materials and knows how to count to 10 and is confident with the names and quantities associated to the numbers 1 to 9. The specific aim of this material, used in combination with the MA27-A 1-1000 number cards, is for the child to get...
This material can be used from the age of 4 onwards when the child knows the the golden bar of tens, the numbers 1 to 10 and the coloured bead bars. The goal is to memorize subtractions.
This material can be used from the age of 4 onwards when the child knows the the golden bar of tens, the numbers 1 to 10 and the coloured bead bars. To be used with the positive snake game, first and second level. The goal of this material is to facilitate the construction of the mental calculating mechanism by using the 10.
Working with this board, from the age of five onwards and by repeating the exercise, enables the child to memorize the results of simple multiplications with results from 1 to 100.
When working with the tablets and counters (from the age of three years onward) the child learns the numbers 1 to 10 and the quantity of single pieces associated to the number as well as the concept of even and uneven numbers. This material can be used with the mat MA18.
This material can be used from around 5 years onwards and offers the child many possibilities. The main goal is to make the decimal system understandable by working with physical objects and symbols. With this material the child can compose big numbers and apply the four arithmetic operations to them, proceeding in a clear and conscious way from a...
From the age of 3 years the sandpaper numerals get the child acquainted with the grafical symbols corresponding to quantity through the presentation of linked units. It is used to prepare the hand for writing symbols so through touching, the form of the numeral is captured by the muscle memory. The sound is associated to the auditory memory, like when...
Work with the tens boards starts from around the age of five when the child has been working with the teen board and has a good knowledge of the numbers 11 to 19. Now the numbers from 11 to 99 are introduced. It can be used together with the alphabets, for example with the two colours alphabet (LI08) to deepen the knowledge of the number nomenclature.
Using this material of high esthetic quality to attract the child’s attention, from the age of around five it will be able to explore and master basic arithmetic operations by manipulating concrete objects. Moreover, by repeating the exercises, the child will progressively memorize the results of the arithmetic operations and this will be very useful for...
The specific aim of this material, used in combination with the MA27 introduction to the decimal system, is for the child to get acquainted with the decimal system. The golden beads are particularly precious because generally they have a triple value: arithmetic, geometric and algebraic. This material can be used from the age of four, when the child has...
The specific aim of this material, used in combination with the MA26 tray introducing to quantities, is for the child to acquire the knowledge of quantities from 1 to 1000, presented in their hierarchy. The golden beads are particularly precious because generally they have a triple value: arithmetic, geometric and algebraic. The material can be used from...
This material, to be used from the age of 5 onwards, allows the child to immediately catch the concept of multiplication and division by simply handling concrete objects and also makes clear how the two operations are one the inverse of the other. By repeating the exercise, it also allows to progressively memorize the results of simple multiplications...
