A wooden frame with stand has seven horizontal stainless steel wires. On the left side of the frame there are grey, black and white PMMA insets with the values 1, 10, 100, 1000, 10.000, 100,000, 1.000.000 engraved in red on them. Each wire has 10 beads in the hierarchical colours: green for the units, thousands and millions, blue for the tens and tens of hundreds, and red for the hundreds and hundreds of hundreds. The beads have a diameter of 8 mm and are micro lathed and varnished in Italy and thread on stainless steel wire by hand. The wooden parts have a UNI EN 71-3 finishing.

The big bead frame is to be used after the small one (MA12). The goal is to accompany the child towards abstraction: from the analysis and operations with real quantities to those with positional numeration, according to the decimal system. Whereas the small frame allows to work with numbers up to the thousands, this one goes up to the millions.

The material is to be used together with the checkerboard (MA20) and the beads (MA23) to make multiplications with big numbers and to make a geometric analysis of the multiplication.

When working with the tablets and counters (from the age of three years onward) the child learns the numbers 1 to 10 and the quantity of single pieces associated to the number as well as the concept of even and uneven numbers. This material can be used with the mat MA18.
€93.00
This material can be used after working with the decimal system and allows to carry out all four arithmetic operations, also with big numbers.
€310.00
This material can be used for many different activities, also in combination with other materials.
€26.00
The specific aim of this material, used in combination with the MA26 tray introducing to quantities, is for the child to acquire the knowledge of quantities from 1 to 1000, presented in their hierarchy. The golden beads are particularly precious because generally they have a triple value: arithmetic, geometric and algebraic. The material can be used from...
€80.00
From three years onwards this material helps to develop the association of symbols to the corresponding quantity of 1 to 9 represented by loose spindles. This material also introduces the concept of “zero” as an empty set.
€205.00
From the age of 3 years the number rods get the child acquainted with the numbers from 1 to 10 through linked units: each rod corresponds to a number on the corresponding card (MA19), and the units are clearly shown by the sequence of blue and red segments. The child can thus control the error by counting the units. This material also introduces the child...

This material, to be used from the age of 5 onwards, allows the child to immediately catch the concept of multiplication and division by simply handling concrete objects and also makes clear how the two operations are one the inverse of the other. By repeating the exercise, it also allows to progressively memorize the results of simple multiplications...
€130.00
Starting from around 5 years of age, when the child has already worked with the teen and ten boards, it can work with the 1000 chain. By experimenting the linear breaking up of the square and then of the cube, the child gets more and more confidence with the numbers from 1 to 1000. Moreover, it is the first approach to the power of a number. A 10 bead...

The board is to be used together with the number stamps (MA20-A) and the beads (MA23) to make multiplications with big numbers and to make a geometric analysis of the multiplication.
€25.00
Work with the teen board starts from around the age of four when the child has been working with the first psycho arithmetic materials and begins to recognise the quantities associated to the numbers from 1 to 10. The specific aim of this material is to reinforce what the child has learned and proceed in the knowledge of the numbers 11 to 99. It can be...

This material can be used from the age of four, when the child has already practiced with the first psycho arithmetic materials and knows how to count to 10 and is confident with the names and quantities associated to the numbers 1 to 9. The specific aim of this material, used in combination with the MA27-A 1-1000 number cards, is for the child to get...
