A wooden frame with stand has four horizontal stainless steel wires. On the left side of the frame there are grey and white PMMA insets with the values 1, 10, 100, 1000 engraved in red on them. Each wire has 10 beads in the hierarchical colours: green for the units and thousands, blue for the tens and red for the hundreds. The beads have a diameter of 8 mm and are micro lathed and varnished in Italy and thread on stainless steel wire by hand. The wooden parts have a UNI EN 71-3 finishing.
SMALL BEAD FRAME
This material can be used from the age of 5 years onwards, once the child has worked with the golden and coloured beads. The goal is to accompany the child towards abstraction: from the analysis and operations with real quantities to those with positional numeration, according to the decimal system. This frame allows to work with numbers up to the thousands.
