PMMA LANGUAGE INSETS

The language insets (also called the metal insets because originally they were made of varnished metal) can be used from the age of three years. The direct aim is to develop fine motor skills in preparation for writing. Moreover, it educates the visual sense for geometry and helps to better comprehend geometrical design

Description

The material consists in two sets of geometric insets. Each figure has a wooden knob and fits perfectly into the yellow PMMA square frame of 15x15 cm. The first set has 5 regular polygonal geometric figures whereas the second set contains curved geometric figures. Each set is presented on an inclined wooden stand (to be bought seperately: LI02 and LI02-A). The wooden turned knobs are made of beechwood.
